After having some argy-bargy with Aer Lingus, Azealia Banks' gig at The Academy in Dublin is still planned to go ahead.

Speaking to us this evening, MCD confirmed that Banks is still on to play a sold-out concert at the Academy. The singer took to Instagram earlier today to relay her travel woes, which saw Banks describing some of the Aer Lingus stewards as "ugly Irish women", and claimed that Aer Lingus were "trying to make a spectacle" out of her.

Aer Lingus confirmed to Daily Mail earlier today that "two guests scheduled to fly on 10:55am flight from London Gatwick to Dublin (EI233) this morning disembarked themselves prior to departure... The flight departed Gatwick at 12:07 and landed in Dublin at 13:22. Aer Lingus has a strict no-tolerance policy towards disruptive guest behaviour."

Banks claimed that Aer Lingus have now banned her for life from flying Aer Lingus, however Aer Lingus have not yet released any further statement confirming or denying this part of Banks' story.

You can check out Banks' version of events on her Instagram stories right now.
