You can call it karma, or just plain old bad luck. Either way, Axl Rose took a rather nasty tumble during a Guns N Roses show at French festival Hellfest on Saturday last. Rose was just about to launch into the vocals in 'Sweet Child O Mine' when he apparently tripped on some stage rigging and came down on his head. You can see the incident in the video below. He carried on singing like a trooper but was clearly put off by the fall.
The recent Guns N' Roses UK and Irish tour was an up and down affair, with Rose and co. regularly showing up to their sets over an hour late. In some cases the band were the victims of missiles thrown from angry fans in the crowd, upset at the band's tardiness.
It was also reported that Axl Rose isn't allowing anyone sporting t-shirts bearing the image of former Gn'R guitarist Slash's face. The shirts have to be removed before entry to the venue or admittance was being refused.
