Have you ever experienced the hairs-on-end feeling of a live choir, whose music depends entirely on their exposed, vulnerable, crystal clear voices? So many other performers get away with having fairly mediocre voices - Cheryl Cole anyone? - because they know they have the comfort of strings, drums, and all kinds of supportive audio tracks to fall back on. But with a choir as good as this, it's all about talent and synchronicity and beautiful harmonies.

So if you're sick of the average gig, why not head along to see The Line-Up in action (along with their sister choir The Soulful). They're performing at The Button Factory this Friday and, take it from us, these guys are worth the watch.

The Soulful and The Line-Up are back on home turf following our record breaking performance in London at the 30 Choir Festival. Join us in the Button Factory on Friday June 28th for our final gig before the summer break.

The past year has been a very successful one for both choirs. Some of The Soulful's performances to date include performing at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in The Shelbourne Hotel and for President Michael D Higgins at Light Up a Life in Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross. They also took to the stage at The Sugar Club in December for their debut concert performance. Members of The Line-Up, featured in the Meteor Christmas ad campaign Let’s get Christmassy, which aired nationally on radio and television. A small group from The Line-Up also performed live on The KC Show on Today FM. They too staged their debut gig in The Sugar Club to a sell-out audience and shared the stage with The Soulful for their joint production Rock ‘n’ Soul in the Civic Theatre. Both choirs were also involved in volunteering their services for The Mansion House Fuel Fund, which helped raise money for the Simon Community and St Vincent de Paul charities.

The gig in the Button Factory will feature classic hits such as "Video Killed The Radio Star", "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, "Living for the City", "Try a Little Tenderness" and many more songs covering artists such as Foo Fighters, MGMT and Justin Timberlake.
