Arctic Monkeys are said to be starting work on their third album this month.
The follow-up to last year's 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' will probably be released early next year.
Guitarist Jamie Cook told BBC6Music that the quartet were excited about reconvening for the songwriting sessions in their hometown of Sheffield.
"We are gonna get our fingers out [this] month," he said. "Get back in his [Alex Turner]'sroom in Sheffield and start writing some tunes."
