BBC presenter Anita Rani has been announced as the host of 'Blue Planet II - Live in Concert' when it hits 3Arena next March.

Arriving in Belfast at The SSE Arena on Saturday 23 March, with a Dublin show on Sunday 24th March, tickets are available from the usual outlets.

Rani will have a live accompaniment by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Matthew Freeman. 'Blue Planet II' will feature music by Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, and David Fleming.

Rani, who presents 'Countryfile' and 'The One Show' said "I am really honoured to have the role of host on the Blue Planet II Live In Concert arena tour. The TV series was such a fantastic and enlightening show and has really empowered society to view our oceans and environment with a great deal more care. I can’t wait to stand on stage with an 80-piece orchestra and huge screen showing some of that incredible Blue Planet II footage, it should be an amazing experience!”

During the filming of the Blue Planet II television program, film crews embarked on 125 expeditions, travelled to 39 countries and spent over 6,000 hours of deep sea diving armed with the latest state of the art equipment over four years - and now you can see it all on the big screen with a live orchestra.
