The city of Derry will play host to Stripes and Stars Americana on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July, a festival intent on bringing the best of American culture to the North West. Celebrating Americana in all its forms, the main activity surrounds a 2 day long festival which takes place over Independence Day weekend. Music, literature and cinema will be the focus of the festival, with the festival taking in live performances from the likes of Lowly Knights, Murder Balladeers, The 1930s, Captain Kennedy, Sullivan and Gold, Wookalily, Rachel Austin, Porch Song Anthology and many more.
