Prolific Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman has announced details of his sixth solo album, despite the fact that it's only been 5 minutes since he released the last one, January's 'Vacilando Territory Blues'. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Tillman played most of the instruments on 'Year of The Kingdom' himself. 'Year of the Kingdom' is due for release on September 22nd.

Following the recent reissue of their debut album 'Ten' 90s rockers Pearl Jam have announced details of their ninth studio album. Entitled 'Backspacer', the album will be available in two formats from the band's website. You'll be able to buy it as either a 'Ten Club/Indie Package' or on 180 gram vinyl including a 24 page booklet. Pearl Jam have just released the album's lead single 'The Fixer' on 7 inch vinyl with B-side 'Supersonic'. 'Backspacer' will be released on September 20th.

Baltimore electro-folk group Le Loup have revealed details of the follow up to 2007's excellent and excessively titled 'The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations' Millennium General Assembly'. Since releasing the last album, Le Loup main main Sam Simkoff has gathered a further four full time member. The new album will, more sensibly, be called 'Family' and is due for release on September 22nd. In demonstration of the excellence of Le Loup, here's a video of them playing a 'Ukelele Session', though I don't know why it's called that, since only one of them is actually playing a Ukelele. And before you say, 'Why are they trying to rip off Fleet Foxes?', this was recorded before anyone even knew who Fleet Foxes were. Thanks to Dailymotion.com

Meanwhile, Pete Doherty is close to finishing the next Babyshambles album, LA noise pop duo No Age are to release a new EP entitled 'Losing Feeling', and David Gray's new album 'Draw The Line' will be released on September 14th.
