After going into the studio at the beginning of June, reports have now surfaced that Glasgow indie rockers Frightened Rabbit have finally finished work on their third album, and its due for release early in 2010! The Hutchison brothers and co. are also set to release a new single in November, though no news as yet which song it will be. As 'Midnight Organ Fight' was easily one of the most beautiful albums of 2008, we'll be waiting with baited breath for more news from the Frightened Rabbit camp.

The final details for Dizzee Rascal's forthcoming fourth album, 'Tongue N Cheek', have been revealed. Due for release on September 21st, the album will feature singles 'Dance Wiv Me' and 'Bonkers' as well as new single 'Holiday', which will be available to download from August 24th. Stone Roses man Ian Brown released his new 'Stellify' EP early via internet download on Monday. The EP's four tracks all appear on Brown's forthcoming album 'My Way', which is not due to be released until September 28th. Those who make the online purchase will be able to access pre-sale tickets for Brown's soon to be announced Winter Tour. 'Stellify' will be the lead single from the album, and will be released physically on September 21st. Until then, it's only available online.

Meanwhile, former Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri is soon to begin work on her next solo album, David Bowie is to reissue his 1969 album 'Space Oddity' as a special 40th anniversary edition, and Weezer have revealed that their forthcoming new album is due for release on October 27th.
