Morissette has collaborated with some performers in the past, but we think this pairing could be the best.

Alanis Morissette and Olivia Rodrigo performed the former's hit song together on stage last night, and we are very much here for it.

The 19-year-old 'good 4 u' singer is currently touring her 'Sour' album across the globe and kicked off her two-night stint in LA's Greek Theatre in high-flying style last night.

After belting out hits like 'driver's license' and 'brutal', the star then brought the Canadian icon out on stage to perform the leading track from her 'Jagged Little Pill' release from 1995.

Allow us to do the math for you and point out that Rodrigo wasn't even born when the track was first released. Nevertheless, it's humbling to see two of the biggest pop stars in the world joining forces to bop out to a classic nearly two decades on.

This was the first time Alanis Morissette and Olivia Rodrigo appeared on stage together, but the two hitmakers have been friendly in the past, both appearing on Rolling Stone's 'Musicians on Musicians' podcast for a wholesome interview with each other.

Variety was at the event last night, and they spotted actor and comedian Adam Sandler in the crowd, wearing his trademark casual attire and hoodie while taking photos with fans.

They also shared a video of Rodrigo covering Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated', a rendition from the OG punk-pop princess. Lavigne joined Rodrigo on stage in Toronto earlier on in her tour. Could No Doubt/Gwen Stefani or Veruca Salt join elsewhere on her tour to cover 'Just A Girl' or 'Seether'?

Rodrigo is headed to Ireland this summer for two sold-out dates in Cork and Dublin on June 29 and 30. Her 'Sour' tour will conclude in London in July.
