Adele is an artist known for speaking her mind - and if that means stopping a gig mid-song to have a go at security, so be it.

The outspoken Londoner followed in Taylor Swift's footsteps by chiding a security person at her recent Las Vegas residency for hassling a fan. Swift admonished a security guard on her 'Eras' tour in May, shouting 'Hey stop! She wasn't doing anything' during the song 'Bad Blood'.

Adele stopped her Vegas gig during her song 'Water Under the Bridge', saying "What is going on there with that young fan who’s been bothered so much, since I came on, for standing up? What’s going on with him?" as she pointed at a fan.

As the confused security guard wondered if she was talking to him, Adele continued: "Yes, you, with your hand up, yes you! Put your hand up. You, no you, yes, you with the stick in your hand. Yes, him. What are you doing? Why are you all bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please?"

It seems that a fan was blocking some people's views by standing up, but Adele was having none of it. She told the fan in question: "They won’t bother you anymore, darling. You enjoy the show."

She then told the rest of the audience, who applauded her stance, "Sorry, guys. He’s been bothered the whole show by security and other people sitting behind him. He’s here to have fun. All of you are here to have fun."
