Adele has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Simon Konecki.
The pair had been dating since 2011, and married in secret and only announced the marriage at her Grammy acceptance speech in 2017, where she publicly thanked her husband. Adele gave birth to her son, Angelo, in 2012.
Konecki, a former investment banker, owns Life Water, described as an ethical water company that's partnered with Drop 4 Drop, which funds "clear water projects around the globe." Adele hasn't released an album since 2015's record-breaking '25', which sold 800,000 copies in its first week of release.
The split was announced five months ago, with a joint statement confirming the news.
The album featured hits such as 'Hello', 'When We Were Young' and 'Water Under The Bridge', and won Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, while 'Hello' won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Despite the stress and heartbreak of a marriage ending, it looks like Adele was at least doing her best to put the split behind her, and posted a series of images on her Instagram showing off her summer, which featured lots of sun, sea and rock-climbing.
