Rock stalwarts AC/DC are plotting an 18-month world tour in support of their forthcoming new album, due for release later this year.

The album, the band's fifteenth studio outing, will be the first new material from the Aussie rockers since 2000's 'Stiff Upper Lip', and they're keen to get out and tour it, according to their agent.

Billboard.com reported yesterday that Rob Light, of Creative Artists Agency, confirmed that the Angus Young-led group will undertake the jaunt.

AC/DC's as-yet-untitled album is being produced by Brendan O'Brien, who's also currently working with Mastodon, as reported below.
