Tomorrow is an important day in any Beatles fan's calendar, as June 1st marks 50 years since the Fab Four released possibly their most iconic album, 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.

There have been numerous celebrations happening around the world over the last few weeks in the lead-up to the day, not least the re-issuing of the album in various special edition box-sets, with new mixes and special packaging (below).

Dublin will not be left out of the celebrations on what is being called 'Pepper Day', either, as a very special installation is taking place from 9am - 9pm tomorrow in Wolfe Tone Square, adjacent to the Jervis Shopping Centre.

Bloom Fringe Festival have recreated The Beatles flower bed from the iconic album cover, which will be on display - as well as cardboard cut-outs of John, Paul, George and Ringo, which fans can insert their own faces into and become part of the cover art, while listening to the album.

It's all free to take part in - just turn up between 9am and 9pm.
