A tribute concert for Henry McCullough, one of Ireland's most prominent and successful guitarists of the past few decades, has been arranged following a heart attack he suffered in November last year. McCullough is currently recovering in hospital in Belfast and will hopefully return home to continue his recuperation very shortly.

A Salute To Henry, as the night has been dubbed, will take place in Dublin's Vicar Street on Sunday 3rd march to honour the former Wings and The Grease Band member's (among many others) massive contribution to Irish music. All funds raised will be donated towards Henry's ongoing care.

Henry McCullough has made a huge impression on popular music throughout the years, appearing on recordings by the likes of Joe Cocker, Wings, Donovan, Roy Harper, Linda McCartney, as well as a slew of releases under his own name.

Among the names confirmed for the concert are Christy Moore and Declan Sinnott, Sweeney's Men, Mick Flannery, Fleadh Cowboys, John Spillane, Honor Heffernan and more.

Tickets are available now, priced at just €28.
