Happy New Year! And yes, we're happy with the music that's set to come this year, just look at what's to come...

Maggie Rogers - 'Heard It In A Past Life'

To be released on January 18th, Rogers' debut album is being hotly anticipated. We recently spoke to the lovely singer earlier this year, ahead of her first arena night supporting Mumford & Sons.

Rudimental - 'Toast To Our Differences'

Rudimental's 'Toast To Our Differences' will be the group's third studio album in five years. Playing Dublin's Olympia Theatre on 19th and 20th, January, they are set to release the album on January 25th.

Weezer - 'Weezer (The Black Album)'

The band's fifth self-titled album, will also be their 12th studio album, if you can get your head around that. 'Can't Knock The Hustle' is the title track from the album, which is scheduled for release on March 1st.

Lana Del Rey - 'Norman F*cking Rockwell'

Contrary to what Del Rey's album might suggest, Rockwell's full name is Norman Percevel Rockwell. He was an American author, painter, and illustrator and will be the headline of the singer's latest album, to be released on March 29th.

The Weeknd - 'Chapter 6'

'Chapter 6' will be The Weeknd’s fourth studio album, and the follow-up to his 2016 album 'Starboy'. There's been no date set yet, but he made the announcement at a gig in Canada in November, saying it will be here soon.

Major Lazer - 'Music Is The Weapon'

Originally due to arrive in 2017, and then in 2018, hopefully we'll see 'Music Is The Weapon' release sometime in 2019. Although, the album is rumoured to be Major Lazer's final release ever.

Vampire Weekend - 'Mitsubishi Macchiato'

Vampire Weekend have gone through a massive overhaul of late; band member Rostam Batmanglij has departed (although will make appearances on this fourth album) and they have also changed recording label, signing up with Sony Music. 'Mitsubishi Macciato' is a current working title of the new album, which doesn't yet have a release date. Ezra Koenig has said though, that the album is 94.5% done, and that was back in May 2018. Please enjoy Keonig's side project, which he helped write and produce, Netflix's 'Neo Yokio'. The anime features the voices of Jude Law and Jaden Smith.

The 1975 - 'Notes On A Conditional Form'

The 1975's fourth album will be released a mere six months after 'A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships' and will complete the band's "Music for Cars" era. No new music has been released for the album yet, but we're sure we won't be too far into 2019 before we hear something fresh. Here's a collaboration they did with Philippines artist, No Rome; it's pretty neat.

And now, dear reader, we must speculate the crap out of these eight artists that are rumoured to have some new material releasing later this year.

Adele has already confirmed she's begun writing new material - just when we hear something new still remains to be seen.

Beyonce hasn't released a solo album since 2016's 'Lemonade.' Given the fact that she favours an unexpected drop, and that two of her albums were "leaked" recently, let's hope 2019 brings back Queen Bey.

Coldplay may release some new music this year. If fan theories on Reddit are to be believed, Chris Martin and co. have been releasing albums every three years or so - and new material hasn't arrived since 2015.

Tame Impala's Kevin Parker confirmed in 2018 that they'll release a new album by this summer, so here's hoping that he sticks to his word.

Kaiser Chiefs have said they've been working on new material for a while now, and will be embarking on a UK tour next year. New album? Let's see.

Rihanna's vocal producer said at the end of 2018 that her new album is "incredible." However, Rihanna's been quite busy starring in movies as of late; but the singer recently confirmed that 2019 will be the year her new album arrives.

Taylor Swift might release a new album before the end of 2019; the 'Bad Blood' singer has previously said that she wants to release another album before turning 30 in December.

Kanye West has been teasing the follow-up to last year's 'Ye' for months now. He's changed the album's release at least twice now, so better not put too much money on 'Yhandi' being released anytime soon.
