Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have had a high calibre of support acts since beginning their tours in Dublin back in 2011.

After the release of their first album in October of that year, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds wasted no time and kicked off their debut album tour in Dublin a week later, with support from Irish band The Minutes. Here are some of the other top acts who have joined them on tour over the years.

Kasabian

Kicking things off in incredible style, Kasabian joined Noel Gallagher and his band when they returned to Ireland in 2012. Headlining Dublin's Marlay Park, a seismic shift nearly occurred in the capital when the British band began to play their biggest hit to date - 'Fire'.

Maverick Sabre

Anglo-Irish rapper Maverick Sabre has had an incredible career to date and what could make it better than being handpicked by the legend that is Noel Gallagher for his tour. Unfortunately, there seems to be no footage of the Marlay Park gig online so here's Maverick Sabre performing at The Academy in Dublin earlier this year, featuring an incredible vocal from the audience.

Snow Patrol

Embarking on a joint headline tour in North America, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol joined forces in 2012. The Northern Irish/Scottish band had just released their newest record, ‘Fallen Empires'. In what was presumedly a match made in heaven, both bands played 14 shows across the US and Canada, belting out classics such as 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back in Anger', and 'Chasing Cars'.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Does it really get any bigger than this? Undoubtedly one of the biggest night's in Irish music history, Noel Gallagher plus the Red Hot Chili Peppers both played in Croke Park in June 2012. If you were one of the lucky ones who managed to get tickets to the Chili's third UK & Ireland date, we're sure you won't be forgetting this epic evening anytime soon.

Super Furry Animals

Welsh rock band Super Furry Animals joined Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on tour for their second album 'Chasing Yesterday' which was released in 2015. Again, video footage of their tour with Noel doesn't seem to exist so here's the band headlining Glastonbury in 2015 performing 'The Man Don't Give a F*ck'.

And here's who's joining them in 2019...

Having just released a new three-track EP, 'Wait and Return', in April and in anticipation of their new world tour this year, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have a stellar line-up included on their upcoming bill. They have already kicked off the tour in Europe this May, having played with Two Door Cinema Club in Murcia, Spain.

In the UK, they will be joined by Razorlight and The Charlatans for various dates, and Dublin will see support from Doves, Blossoms, and DMA. The North American leg of the tour, kicking off in August, will feature a team-up with The Smashing Pumpkins, with special guests AFI.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will play Dublin's Malahide Castle on Sunday, June 16th. With support from Doves, DMA’s, and Blossoms tickets can still be purchased from Ticketmaster.ie
