If you've found it difficult to narrow down your favourite albums of the year, maybe picking your favourite song will prove an easier task.
There's no question that Ed Sheeran dominated much of 2017 with the various songs he released from the all-conquering 'Divide', but there were a few tracks from other artists that ran him close in terms of impact and streaming figures (hello, Taylor). And then, of course, there was the song that was impossible to avoid in 2017, whether you're a Spanish speaker or not (here's a reminder of what Despacito actually means, BTW.)
Then again, maybe your tastes are a lot less mainstream – we've accounted for those too.
