You may have seen her at Eurovision 2022, representing her native Armenia - but Rosa Linn’s career has gone from strength to strength over the past year.

If you’re a Tik Tok user, it’s highly likely that you’ve already heard her Eurovision entry ‘Snap’, which went viral on the social media platform and led to her signing a deal with Columbia Records.

The young pop star is being lined up to support Ed Sheeran on his forthcoming US tour next year and is still enjoying the fruits that ‘Snap’ has borne, while her new single ‘Would Do It Again’ with Duncan Laurence has recently been released.

We caught up with the 22-year-old to learn more about her.

1. What’s the music that you listened to growing up, that you still listen to today?
Songs of Celentano, Bocelli, Aerosmith, Sting, Ozzy Osbourne, Zemfira.

2. In three words, describe the minute before you walk on stage.
Nerves, Heartbeat, Adrenaline.

3. How do you wind down after a gig?
I watch the videos of my performance laying in bed and picture myself singing in stadiums.

4. What’s the one song (by another artist) you wish you’d written or recorded first?
‘Someone Like You’ by Adele.

5. What is your pet peeve?
Fake people.

6. Name one record, one book and one film that everyone should hear / read / see.
‘Woman’ by Mumford and Sons, “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini, “August Rush”.


7. Pick the director and lead actor(s) for a biopic about your life.
Myself.

8. You’re ordering take-away, what do you get?
Pizza Margherita, Caprese salad.

9. Describe your perfect day off.
Walking in my hometown with my closest friends, dinner with family and then watching movies all night in my bedroom in the house I grew up in.
