She positioned herself on people's radars with the release of her debut EP 'Wildflower' in 2020.

A spellbinding live-streamed set at Cork Opera House in December by Kerry singer-songwriter Lorraine Nash later led to her signing with Cork-based label FIFA Records. With a debut album currently in the works, her most recent single ‘Sing With Her' was inspired by the #WhyNotHer movement, which addresses gender inequality within the Irish music industry.

We caught up with her to learn more.

1. What's the music that you listened to growing up, that you still listen to today?
I was listening to Trad music before anything else really, and I regularly go back to it.

2. In three words, describe the minute before you walk on stage.
Tuning, panic, excitement.

3. How do you wind down after a gig?
It doesn’t take a lot, because I am usually exhausted after a gig!

4. What’s the one song you wish you’d written first?
'Vincent' by Don McLean is a song I’ve always admired, I would love to write something like that.

5. What’s the last thing you watched on TV?
The last series I watched was 'Killing Eve', which I highly recommend.

6. Name one record and one film that everyone should hear / see.
One record I think everyone should hear is 'Every Kingdom' by Ben Howard - I think it might be because I start playing it every year when we are coming into summer. A film I think everyone should see is 'Inside Llewyn Davis', it’s a Coen brothers one and it’s always been a favorite of mine.

7. What's your biggest pet peeve?
Probably when people leave the door slightly open on the way out of the room - that kills me, for some unknown reason.

8. Who's the most famous person saved to your phone contacts?
I wish I had a really cool answer for this but I’m coming up short! Come back and ask me in 5 years and hopefully I’ll have something good!

9. You’re ordering take-away, what do you get?
I usually go straight to Chinese food.

10. Describe your perfect day off.
That would consist of nothing but eating and watching Netflix.
