Now this is the kind of inauguration we've been waiting for.

Two absolute powerhouses will join in on the Joe Biden inauguration later this month. Not only will Jennifer Lopez AKA JLo AKA Jenny From the Block be giving us a special musical performance (something from 'Hustlers' perhaps?), Lady Gaga will be on hand to sing the US National Anthem, 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.

The news was confirmed online earlier today.

Of course, this will be JLo's second big performance of the past year, after her team up with Shakira during 2020 Suprbowl. Gaga on the other hand, released her latest album 'Chromatica' early last year, and is no doubt waiting impatiently to perform a live gig again.

Trump's inauguration four years ago, where his MAGA concert featured rock band 3 Doors Down and country singer Toby Keith, pales in comparison to the Biden inauguration. Eight years previously, the late soul legend Aretha Franklin performed for President Barack Obama.

The 59th inaugural swearing-in ceremony will take place in front of the US Capitol, which was recently over-run by protestors. Joe Biden will become the 46th US president, with Kamala Harris as Vice President. The official ceremony kicks off on Wednesday, January 20.
