As you may have heard, the small matter of a US presidential inauguration took place in Washington DC yesterday.

Although President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's inauguration was hugely scaled-back due to Covid restrictions, some big names

During the inauguration ceremony itself, Lady Gaga sang 'The Star Spangled Banner', Jennifer Lopez sang 'This Land is Your Land' and Garth Brooks performed an a cappella version of 'Amazing Grace':



Yesterday evening, however, a celebratory concert dubbed 'Celebrating America' took place in Washington, that was hosted by Tom Hanks and featured Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry and Bon Jovi. Some of the performances were broadcast remotely, while others were live and direct from the stage at the Lincoln Memorial.

Demi Lovato performed a cover of Bill Withers' 'Lovely Day':

Katy Perry performed 'Firework' to a backdrop of, ummm, fireworks:

Country stars Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard played 'Undivided' live from Nashville:

Black Pumas played their song 'Colors':

Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons played 'Better Days'.

And finally - as promised, New Radicals united for Biden's virtual inaugural parade to play 'You Get What You Give':
