The two Irish stars just set an outrageously high bar in terms of what fans should expect from their favourite musicians from now on.
Taking over London's Natural History Museum for a special pay-per-view gig last night, 'Some Summer Night' was broadcast live with Dermot Kennedy and Paul Mescal teaming up for one night only.
The Irish musician streamed his live performance exclusively from the museum for fans who had purchased tickets for the event. Alongside his band, Kennedy played 12 tracks for the hour-long performance, with the 'Normal People' star making various appearances throughout the set, including a couple of moments of spoken-word.
All of the tracks performed on the night were also translated into their Gaeilge version on screen - which might have been a slight dig at the UK publications who labelled Paul Mescal as "British" following his recent Emmy nomination.
When it was time for Kennedy to perform his single 'Giants', Mescal walked out onto the stage to sing alongside the musician. Here's a clip of the performance.

Just watched @DermotKennedy with @mescal_paul in concert online. My first paid for online concert. Cons: almost got fomo for not being there (yet no one was there). Pros: I can instantly rewind and rewatch again. So yes I am doing that. #dermotkennedy #PaulMescal #LiveAtHome
