"I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it."

Britney Spears has uploaded a new post on her social media, saying thanks to her loyal supporters for helping put her conservatorship battle into the mainstream media.

Less than one week ago, Britney's legal battle with her father Jamie Spears came to a head when he was immediately suspended from his daughter's assets. This means that the 39-year-old's 13-year conservatorship which has been overseen by her father is essentially over. The next hearing, which could potentially end the conservatorship entirely, is scheduled for November 12.

During last night's social media outage, Britney uploaded a thank you to her #FreeBritney supporters. She also published a short video of her posing in front of the camera set to Kanye West's track 'Fade'.

Britney Spears wrote her thanks: "#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!

"I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it … I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true [love heart emoji] !!!!!"

Commenting underneath the post, her fiance Sam Asghari asked, "From a scale of 0-Britney how free are you?", while Miley Cyrus said, "You look soooooooo good".

Accountant John Zabel has temporarily been appointed as having control over Britney's finances until the next step in the conservatorship case. The pop star has expressed that her wellbeing assistant Jodi Montgomery continue in her current role.
