The 39-year-old is throwing down the gauntlet when it comes to the support she has received from her family over the past 13 years.

Taking to social media to post a lengthy caption next to a typewriter and some flowers, Britney Spears has called out her family for only being "available to me when it's convenient for them".

As her 13-year conservatorship begins to come to a close, following judge Brenda Penny suspending her father in the role of conservator of her estate last month, Spears has been making numerous strides in calling out the people who have helped - and not helped - her over the years.

Her most recent post states: "Don't you find it weird when you jump through hoops to organize trips or set up lunch dates with people you love only to know they'll bail on you or leave after 10 minutes [eye roll emoji]???

"It's humiliating and it's like every person I've ever opened to immediately says they'll be gone on a trip for two weeks after ... OK I get it ... they're only available to me when it's convenient for them ... well I'm no longer available to any of them now!!!

"I don't mind being alone ... and actually I'm tired of being this understanding Mother Teresa ... if you're rude to me then I'm done ... peace out!!!

"This message is to my family ... for hurting me deeper than you'll ever know!!! I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice!!! I'm only 5'4" and I've played the bigger person my entire life ... do you know how hard that is???"

Britney Spears called out her family earlier this month, writing: "If you’re like my family who says things like 'sorry, you’re in a conservatorship' … probably thinking you’re different so they can f*ck with you!!!!".

She also thanked her fans by saying they are "the best" following the #FreeBritney movement which put her conservatorship into the spotlight.

The next court date for Britney Spears will be on Friday, November 12. This could potentially see her conservatorship come to an end in its current form (i.e. a new conservator appointed, with Jamie Spears being removed).
