Clay Tarver returns to the director's chair for a self-penned sequel, which takes place several months later. Marcus (Lil Rel Howery) and Emily (Yvonne Orji) head to a Caribbean resort and invite new parents Ron (John Cena) and Kyla (Meredith Hagner) to join them in paradise. The trip is supposed to help Marcus land a major business contract but his negotiations are thrown into disarray when Kyla's jailbird father Reese (Steve Buscemi) turns up unannounced after a long stretch behind bars at San Quentin. Energetic comedy
