1977. Against the backdrop of Saturday Night Fever and the Punk revolution, Vince [Legge] tries to romance Joanna [Fraser] while coming to terms with his father's [Courtenay] paranormal talents for mind-over-matter miracles. A low-key kitchen-sink comedy, the charm of Whatever Happened.. is only spoiled by an unrealistic happy ending.
