A banal tale of two gormless bumpkins [Martin and Hawn] bewildered by the Big City. In theory, Martin and Hawn should provide an ideal screwball pairing, but they didn't ignite in Housesitter and repeat that failure again here. John Cleese reprises his Basil Fawlty role to good effect but his performance is slight comfort.
