Renee Zellweger is to reprise her signature role of Bridget Jones, in a third film based on the life of the perennially neurotic 30 something. Variety are saying that British production company Working Title are extremely keen on putting another instalment of the hugely popular book series onto the big screen, that would see Bridget hitting her 40’s and struggling to have a baby before it’s too late. Working Title have also tapped Cate Blanchett to star in Indian Summer for director Joe Wright, as they look to bounce back from box office disappointment, The Boat That Rocked.
