Len Wiseman is in advanced negotiations to direct the action thriller Motorcade for Dreamworks. Mr. Kate Beckinsale last helmed Die Hard 4.0, which was well received by the masses. Since then he’s been linked with various productions, including Gears of War and the Escape From New York remake, with Gerard Butler in the lead role, but both films fell through at the later stages. Wiseman is a talented director, who knows how to stage an action sequence, but he needs a truly exceptional script to break onto the A-list - granted, most directors do. Flick centres on the presidents motorcade driving through Los Angeles, which is under threat from an attack from terrorists. No actors have been cast yet, but with a budget north of $60 million, expect some top drawer names to circle any available roles involved.
