Will Smith has a hole in his schedule having pulled out of the science fiction movie Brilliance, and is looking to fill it with the Ridley Scott produced 'Game Brain'.

According to Deadline, Game Brain is based on an article in American GQ that focused on brain injuries in professional sports - more specifically concussions and the long term effects on the human brain. NFL superstarslike Dave Duerson and Junior Seau have committed suicide after suffering from repeated shots to the head while playing their sport.

Smith, if indeed he does move forward with the production, would play Dr. Bennet Omalu who discovered CTE, the syndrome directly correlated to concussions and suicide.

Peter Landesman, who wrote and directed the Kennedy assassination flick, Parkland, wrote the script and will direct the film.
