If there's one man with as much, if not more charisma than Robert Downey Jr. then it's got to be Jack Nicholson. So, as you can imagine we were quite excited to hear that the pair are being lined up to play father and son on screen.

The Hollywood Reporter says Warner Brothers are eager to sign Nicholson up to star as Downey Jr's daddy in The Judge. The Iron Man himself stars as a successful attorney who returns to his hometown for his mother's funeral only to discover that his estranged and Alzheimer's-stricken father, the town's judge, is the murder suspect. So it's up to Downey Jr. to find out what really happened and reconnect with the life he left behind along the way.

But convincing Jack to sign on won't be easy. He has only appeared in three movies since 2003 and famously rejected the role of Frank Costello in The Departed several times before Martin Scorcese himself convinced him to join the project. Let's face it, when you're good you can afford to be picky and Mr Nicholson is just about as good as it gets!
