This is beyond insane. Talk about uneven wealth distribution. No wonder most people everywhere (apart from the filthy rich) are pissed off half the time; Brad Pitt's double was paid an insulting £4.44 an hour during 'World War Z' while the Pittmeister himself took home a sickening £9million. So while he rested up on a 5 star private estate in between takes on the zombie movie, his double put in an 18 hour day for a paltry £80.

And it's not like he just stood there making tea, or licking envelopes, he had to act out Brad's every move, following every action. Surely that requires some skill that would at least warrant you get the minimum wage?

These are the UK's minimum wage rates at present:

2013 (from 1 October) 21 and over: £6.31 | 18 to 20: £5.03 | Under 18: £3.72 | Apprentice: £2.68
2012 (current rate) 21 and over: £6.19 | 18 to 20: £4.98 | Under 18: £3.68 | Apprentice: £2.65

We presume the man is over 21 if he's starring as the 49 year old's double.

David Paterson (Pitt's double) is the one to have dished the dirt. David told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'I basically had to be Brad for the day and copy everything he did on screen... Brad was there the entire time, and they were filming over the course of months, so it must have been quite tough... I was paid £80 but it wasn't anything to do with the money. I'm not too fussed about that. I did it for the experience. You get asked to do something like that and you can't really say no... I didn't get a VIP pass for the film, nothing like that at all, and I haven't seen it yet. I walked away with around £80, no autograph and no VIP invites.'

So he starred as his understudy and didn't even get to give the man a high-five? And didn't get an invite to go and see the movie?

Acting as Brad's double meant David had to dress identically to the star while shooting scenes and follow Brad's lead.

He added: 'Brad and I ran through a supermarket putting tins and jars into the trolley, acting out different scenes, and I was following his actions.

'I wore identical clothes to him, jeans, blue jacket and T-shirt. I had the same physique as him, both slim built, although not so much any more as I've put on weight since then.'
