Gerard Butler made it to the big boy leagues with 300 and now it's time for a new generation lineup to do the same thing with the follow up film 300: Rise Of An Empire. Starring Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Callan Mulvey, Hans Matheson, and Jack O'Connell, the 300 sequel action flick carries on the story of an ancient battle between Greeks and Persians.
More central to any particular plot line however, let's be honest, are the awe-inspiring action scenes, bolstered by unbeatable special effects and flinch-worthy visceral visuals. It may well begin 'with a whisper' but it definitely doesn't end that way. We want to see blood, people.
