This looks absolutely fantastic and may just be the opus James Franco has been threatening to make for years.
Franco directs and stars in the film based on the production of the insanely bad cult film, The Room.
The cast is genuinely incredible, with pretty much the whole Judd Apatow crew showing up and then some. Seth Rogen, James Franco, Alison Brie, Zac Efron, Adam Scott, Bryan Cranston, Sharon Stone, Josh Hutcherson as well as cameos from JJ Abrams and Apatow and original stars and director Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero also pop up.
If you think that looks like it's in any way heightened, have a look at the below. We'd say spoilers, but... eh.
Expect this to be a serious awards season contender. Early word has been ecstatic.
