Really, we're not joking. You can actually see the entire film condensed down to two and a half minutes.

For anyone who wasn't around during the early '00s, The Ring was a surprisingly decent remake of a Korean horror film about a cursed videotape that killed anyone who watches it within seven days. The video, which was made of genuinely startling and disturbing images, was actually showing the final moments of a young girl called Samara.

Anyway, Rings is a legacy sequel that, ugh, just watch the trailer. It'll basically tell you all you need to know.

See? It's the entire film in two and a half minutes. We've waxed lyrical before about the problem with modern trailers, but this really is an egregious example. Why would you go see this film after seeing this? It's basically the entire film and the big set-piece all in there. Also, the acting looks turrrible and why is Vincent D'Onofrio turning up in cheap horrors all of a sudden?

Rings is scheduled for a November 4th release here in Ireland.
