There's quite a few directors who made their name by making advertisements and commercials.

Ridley Scott, for example, famously directed Apple's 1984-inspired Macintosh commercial, Michael Mann also directed a well-known American football commercial for Nike that featured a musical cue from Last Of The Mohicans, and now the Coen Brothers have decided to take on a commercial for this year's Superbowl.

The commercial, which is for Mercedes-Benz, is something of a p***take of the 1969 counter-culture road movie Easy Rider - and even features Peter Fonda as Wyatt from the film, too.

It's cheesy stuff, to be sure, but you can tell that it's definitely the Coens behind the camera. Take a look.
