Remember when Shia LaBeouf was talked about for the quality of his movies rather than his performance art?

Yeah us neither. Following on from the success of #ALLMYMOVIES last year, Shia started a new project this morning in Oxford Union. At 9am he entered an elevator on campus with two collaborators, Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner, and will occupy it for the next 24 hours.

They're calling it 'arts performance' and they expect anyone who joins them in the elevator to give a 'performance of monologues'. He'll leave the elevator briefly this evening to give a talk to students before returning straight after. The whole thing is being streamed live on Youtube which you can see below.

While we can only see Shia in the lift when it opens, the audio is live all the time which makes it all the more interesting in our books.

When we dropped in, Shia confirmed that he thought this was only slightly less weirder than #ALLMYMOVIES. We'd agree.
