We've seen him shaking what his mama gave him in Van Wilder, raising an adorable Abigail Breslin in Definitely, Maybe and kicking butt in Green Lantern, but now Ryan Reynolds is taking on one of his most challenging roles to date. Yup, he's playing a snail.

He leads an all start voice cast in Turbo, an animated flick about a hapless garden snail who, by chance, finds himself well on the way to doing what he's always dreamed of: Winning the Indy 500, as you do! A brand new international trailer for the film dropped, and we think it looks as though it has potential. And yes, you hear the dulcet tones of Samuel L. Jackson and Snoop Dogg.

Turbo
also features the voice talents of Paul Giammati and Maya Rudolph. The film slides into cinemas Stateside in July, with an October release currently scheduled for our fair Emerald Isle. Here's hoping they speed it up a little *ba dum chhhhh*
