A futuristic animated cross between Tokyo and San Francisco filled with robots and ninjas is the setting for Disney's next big animated adventure, which would sound strange in anyone else's hands but judging by this first look we reckon it'll be more than okay.

Big Hero 6 bills itself as 'an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion - a robot named Baymax - Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.'

Big Hero 6 is Disney's first big movie that's not a sequel to come out since they're biggest hit ever Frozen, so it's highly unlikely that it'll hit the same kind of heights, but with a cast including Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Damon Wayans Jr., T.J. Miller, Alan Tudyk and more, it's definitely not going to do badly. Big Hero 6 is set for release on February 13 2015.
