Farrell reunites with 'The Lobster' writer/director Yorgos Lanthimos for 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' and if you thought their first collaboration was weird, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

In 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer', Farrell plays Steven, "a charismatic surgeon who is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice after his life starts to fall apart, when the behaviour of a teenage boy he has taken under his wing turns sinister".

How sinister? This brief clip below should give you a taste and several chills.

'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' also stars Nicole Kidman as Farrell's wife and Alicia Silverstone as the boy's mother.  Said boy is Barry Keoghan, who has come a long way from 'Love/Hate'.

'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' is set for release later this year.
