Irish actor Domnhall Gleeson’s star status continues to rise as he gets bigger gigs all the time. In this latest feature, Goodbye Christopher Robin, he plays the creator of the beloved teddy bear Winnie the Pooh.
Margot Robbie plays his wife (lucky…), Daphne de Sélincourt, while the part of Christopher Robin is played by Will Tilston and Alex Lawther. Kelly Macdonald and Phoebe Walker-Bridge also star. Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn) directs.
The film details the writer's time in the army during the First World War, before his life takes a happier turn when his son is born.
