As Queen of Ireland goes on general release from today, we were lucky enough to sit down and have a chat with director Conor Horgan and Rory O'Neil AKA Panti Bliss about the groundbreaking documentary.
We talked to Conor and Rory about the challenges of making a documentary such as this with over four years worth of footage, how the crux of the story changed during filming and the pressures of filming whilst under the glare of the media spotlight. We also talked about how the filming process went, how Rory worked with a camera crew following him and the process of editing such a film as this.
Queen of Ireland is on general release from today and is rated 15A.
