We've all heard about Heath Ledger's audition tape for The Joker, but have you seen Christian Bale's tape for Batman Begins? As part of the new boxset - The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Edition - due for release in October, Bale's tape - which he filmed wearing Val Kilmer's batsuit from Batman Forever - has made it online and it's pretty cool.
In an odd bit of foreshadowing or whatever, Bale did his audition tape with none other than the current Lois Lane, Amy Adams. Adams was up for the role that eventually went to Katie Holmes.
Can you imagine Bale's Batman showing up in Batman Forever? That'd get weird quickly.
