Fresh from a live fan event that was held yesterday to an international audience has come a new, frankly extraordinary trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Some critics (by which I mean Tolkien fanatics) have condemned Peter Jackson and the producers for stretching out a tiny sized book into three long films but to be honest, it looks as though this film is going to be nothing but action packed.
Freaky snake eyes, scared Bilbo, noble companions, gorgeous scenery, eye candy (Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly) - what more could cinema goers and Hobbit fans want? (If you have better ideas, or indeed any opinion on the matter, let us know below.)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will hit Irish screens on December 13th. We say Yay!
