You didn't ask for it, but they really don't care; a fifth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise is to (unsurprisingly) happen after the last instalment, Fast & Furious bagged mucho coin at the box-office - despite being utter shite. Flashfilm is reporting about a conversation that Paul Walker had on a radio show about the film: "This was supposed to be it. There wasn’t supposed to be the open-ended closing like there was. When I first read the screenplay, I was like, ‘Man, look what they’re doing.’ But without question, with the way things opened up, Vin and I will be coming back, we’re making a fifth one, and we’re going to Brazil, that’s it." Of course you're coming back - what the hell else would either of you be doing? Diesel thought he was better than the franchise after the first one, and that proved horribly wrong; while Walker has never been a box-office draw. Petrol heads the world over rejoice - let's just hope they manage to put in some cool cars this time.
