It's now been confirmed that Fast & Furious 8's trailer has surpassed the record set down by Beauty & The Beast. Their record was 127.6 million views in the space of a single day, however Vin Diesel's arms managed to put it over by 11,400,000 views. All told, a total of 139 million people saw the trailer on the first day of its release.
Roughly speaking, that's the population of Germany and Italy combined. Yes, really. Germany's population - as of 2015 - is 80,000,000 and Italy is 59,000,000. Combined, that makes for 139,000,000 Europeans who have seen Charlize Theron shift Vin Diesel over EDM music.
