The Wachowski, eh, siblings, are looking to pack their slate with projects after the recent news of them co-helming Cloud Atlas starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Natalie Portman.
The helmers of one of the most innovative movies of all time (The Matrix... shut up, there were no sequels), are apparently pursuing Will Smith, who was very nearly the lead in their most famous production, for Robin Hood. Now, not the Ridley Scott directed, Russell Crowe starring epic that you recently saw at your local multiplex, but rather a modern day version of the thief who robbed rich dudes, then gave it to poor folk. Good idea, no?
Anyhow, Speed Racer wasn't great, but at least original in its execution; Ninja Assassin (which they did some second unit work on) was just plain crap.
