What's more, he's already filmed two of them already - Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In a wide-ranging interview with THR, Holland disclosed that he's signed on for a whopping six appearances as the famed web-slinger, which'll mean he's played the character more than any actor to date. "I do know I have three Spider-Man (appearances in other) movies and three solo movies contracted."

"But if you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it. They’re very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other."

Holland was cited as one of the standouts from Captain America: Civil War and with confirmation that Michael Keaton is playing the villain Vulture in Homecoming, things are definitely looking up for Spider-Man: Homecoming. It's not yet clear, however, whether or not Spider-Man will appear in Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 as Spider-Man: Homecoming is slotted for a 2017 release already.

What's your take on Holland as Spider-Man? Has he lived up to expectations? Let us know what you think in the comments!
