Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale and (the voice of) Taika Waititi are the scene-stealers in this fourth 'Thor' adventure.

There's just under two weeks to go until the latest MCU blockbuster hits cinema screens, and by the looks of the 'Thor: Love and Thunder' early reactions, fans are in for quite the Asgardian treat.

Chris Hemsworth returns for his fourth stand-alone outing as the God of Thunder, but judging by what we can see on Twitter, the main star is outshined by his supporting cast. Natalie Portman's Mighty Thor will make her first appearance in the blockbuster, and viewers are full of non-stop praise for the character.

Similarly, Tessa Thompson holds her own as King Valkyrie, her role believed to be more pivotal than ever before; Christian Bale's turn as Gorr the God Butcher has been signposted as a "chilling" and "top tier" MCU villain; there's also a lot of love for Taika Waititi's return as Korg the Kronan warrior, Thor's faithful ally.

The fourth 'Thor' will also feature a rather incredible guest/supporting cast, including Russell Crowe, Karen Gillen, Jaimie Alexander, Matt Damon, Melissa McCarthy, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn and Chris Pratt.

Here are some of the 'Thor: Love and Thunder' reactions from lucky attendees at the film's premiere last night in LA, who praise the supporting cast as well as director Waititi for delivering plenty of action and buckets of comedy (and some special cameos too).

And so now all we need to do is sit back and patiently await the arrival of 'Thor: Love and Thunder', which blasts into cinemas on Thursday, July 7.
