We make it our business to keep you in the loop of all news relating to Michael Fassbender. Why? Because we claim him as our own and he is a legend. Do we need more reasons than that? No, that'll do just fine.

Sure to find himself at least nominated (if not him, the films he's in then) for 12 Years a Slave and The Counselor come the Oscars next year, Fassbender's on a winning streak like no other. Next up? He's headed west. Not quite the west of Ireland (though if they decided to film a western in Ireland it'd make perfect sense), but to the western genre.

The actor is currently in talks to star in Slow West, helmed by John Maclean opposite Kodi Smit-McPhee and Ben Mendelsohn. This comes as great news to all western/Fassbender fans, given that he was attached to another earlier this year - Jane Got A Gun - but pulled out along with Bradley Cooper and Jude Law. That would have been fun, but hopefully with a few more names to be added to Slow West, it'll fill the big western hole in our hearts.

Yay for more Fassbender.
